Thought I'd share a new blog entry. I realized the other day that while the last year or so I've not posted much, this blog period however is over 4 years old. Not too bad.
Well, let's see, since my last post, the main things that have happened to me are I was able to take a rip up to Washington to see my wife's parents and old house and I got a job finally. It was a bit touch and go there for a while with the whole finding work thing (there is a bad economy after all, and places like Provo, a college town, are crazy finding work in), but I did it. God blessed me for sure. I get to be a para educator again and work in education.
It's funny, I'm still interested in doing something with cartooning or animation, but am wondering if my skills should be put to work instead on education, specifically, special education. Being as I myself went through the special ed program, I feel I may be the best guy for the job as I know how it feels to be a kid in there. I can't really go to school till my wife finishes up (she has about a year and a half to two years left), so I have time to think about it.

Just going along right now. Been looking for work, but find it's hard in Provo to find. But what else can one expect in a slow job market in a small college town?
Beyond that, I've enjoyed married life. Been almost two months now and while we don't have much money, we seem to be doing ok anyway. I miss many of my friends, but such is life.
Right now I've been enjoying watching the World Cup. I've very excited how well the US is doing after winning their group and making it to the second round. I ma in high hopes they beat Ghana and make it to the third round. A win there would mean the worse we could do past that is 4th place and we would be guaranteed at least one more game even if we loose.
That's about all going on with me right now. I'm sure exciting things will be around the corner!

Um, wow, I have not updated this in about a year! There are good reasons to why that is, but still. Well, let's see if we can do this in a nut shell.
I left living with my Aunt and not on good terms, was homeless for a week or so, but was able to get my own place! It was awesome! A nice one bedroom apartment in South Salt Lake. I kept going to LDSBC, but didn't have a very good semester my last term in the Fall. I had to move as I didn't have enough money to keep living at my place.
Meanwhile I started to date this girl, Lauri who was going to BYU. Things were going well. I moved into a room in Taylorsville and had a great job at this Jr. High School, but things went sour at the place with room mates and I had to leave. I ended up moving to Provo, and had to let go of my job as it was too far away.
I got engaged to my girl friend Lauri and we got married almost two weeks ago from today. May 1 at the Bountiful Temple. So now I'm in Provo, looking for a job and newly married. That I think is a good over view of the last year, which has been nuts!

So, it has been a while since I posted anything last, but in my defense I have been busy. Mostly job hunting, but about a month ago, my good friend Camilla did stop by to visit.

That same weekend, my family came for a visit from LA.

But more recently, I went down to Provo at BYU for some testing for school and then went out with some new friends to see "X-Men Origins: Wolverine."

So I passed my math placement test well enough that I can take College Algebra, which was the only class I need to take now for math. I now know what classes transferred over and I'm pleased with it all. It really is the best of both worlds, I can have my second chance that I need when it comes to grades (as my later classes at SMC were not the best) and yet I don't have to start form total scratch here at LDSBC.
I got my schedule for the summer. It could change, but mostly likely will stay as is. Other then that, just getting used to my new home.
